Administration Apprentice

This is an exciting opportunity for an aspiring Administrator to gain experience within many aspects of administration, within a busy company environment. 

You will be required to meet the standards of the Level 3 Business Administration Course to be successful in enrolling onto the appropriate college course. 

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Collating and inputting various data to meet requirements
  • Organise and store paperwork, documents and computer-based information
  • Create and maintain filing and other office systems
  • Assisting with set up of construction sites welfare and equipment
  • Assist with asset management
  • Ordering and maintaining stock of consumables, stationery, PPE etc.
  • Attend and minute various meetings
  • Assist with booking accommodation and travel arrangements
  • Archiving
  • General housekeeping and hospitality
  • Supporting and dealing with requests from TCi team, clients and suppliers
  • Assist with personnel vetting applications for specific projects
  • Create quotations
  • Assist with Health & Safety requirements where required
  • Obtaining quotations from Suppliers and raising Purchase Orders
  • Dealing with both internal and external customers by means of telephone and email, as well as face to face with visitors, in a professional manner

Requirements: 

  • Microsoft Office skills (Word, PowerPoint, Excel etc.)
  • Oral and written communication skills
  • Discretion for confidentiality 
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Confidence dealing with others
  • The ability to plan your own work, use your initiative and meet deadlines
  • Own means of transport to work
  • Ability to become familiar and competent with bespoke software
  • Ability to pass D&A Testing and Vetting
  • GCSE Maths & English 
  • IT (Functional Skills) 

Information: 

  • Monday-Friday 8:30-17:00 (1 day scheduled at college)
