Big cheque charity presentation

In recognition of TCi’s fundraising achievements for North Devon Hospice, the charity organised a “big cheque” presentation.

The team raised a total of £5798.32 with individuals taking part in activities throughout the year, alongside other opportunities to donate. Much of the support came from sponsored physical challenges including the charity’s famous Mission:Unbreakable events and the gruelling North Devon AONB Marathon. Staff also organised a skydive event as well as collecting the proceeds from a Christmas raffle and dress-down-Friday donations.

How we raised nearly six thousand pounds!

“It’s been great to be able to support North Devon Hospice as our “chosen charity” over the past year and I’m extremely proud of everyone who has taken part so enthusiastically in the fundraising activities and everyone who has helped them along the way to raise an impressive figure. The hospice provides a vital service for the North Devon community and, despite the challenges of the pandemic, has provided a superb programme of events and activities to inspire and energise our teams.”

Each year, TCi invites staff to nominate their preferred charities to produce a shortlist which is then put out to vote. This gives the company a focus to support for the next 12 months and all fundraising is based around this charity.

TCi’s chosen charity for 2022 will be announced shortly.

Construction Director, Jim Capron and his wife Lucy completed the North Devon AONB Half Marathon, raising more than £3000 for the hospice.
