Construction specialist makes the move to exciting new, purpose-built premises.

TCi (GB) Ltd has undergone impressive expansion as a business over the past decade and this month has relocated its head office to brand new industrial units on the outskirts of Barnstaple.

The new facility has taken shape within an industrial estate that was constructed by TCi and completed in 2020. A visually striking, modern office space has been created within, making excellent use of glass and natural wood features, exposed mechanical services and an abundance of living plants.

Set across two levels and incorporating space for the separate construction and furniture divisions with a generously proportioned central atrium, large boardroom, training room and individual offices, the space is an excellent example of what can be achieved within a few steel-framed units.

Speaking about the development in an address to staff, Managing Director Alex Perkis said; “This has been the largest single investment by TCi and will be home to the beating heart of the company for many years to come. It represents a collaborative approach between TCi construction WORKS and TCi furniture WORKS and has been finished to the exacting standards that TCi’s prestigious client base expects.”

The new building will be officially opened later this month by Isabel Martinson MBE, Executive Chairman of the Considerate Constructors Scheme.
