TCi makes new directorship appointment for 2018

In line with current growth, and in recognition of his strong leadership and success at Hinkley Point C, Alex Perkis will be appointed Project Director within TCi (GB) Ltd as of January 2018.

He commented: “I am delighted to be continuing the strong direction of the company and look forward to driving projects forward, developing our excellent relationships with existing clients and supply chain partners.”

Alex joined TCi in 2016 to manage the delivery of the Furniture Fixtures & Equipment (FF&E) contract at EDF Energy Hinkley Point C Nuclear New Build in Somerset. With his help, TCi has subsequently won a number of additional construction contracts. With a background in facilities management and consultancy, delivering large-scale projects within rail, pharmaceutical and nuclear industries, Alex brings a wealth of experience and a strategic discipline to the TCi family.

TCi won a competitive tender to become a tier 1 FF&E contractor to EDF Energy’s Hinkley Point C Nuclear New build (NNB) development in 2016, promoting local investment from the project. So far, the contract has enabled the employment of dedicated staff from throughout the region, alongside the use of local manufacturers, suppliers and services wherever possible.
