“I am overjoyed to receive this award and it is a real honour. It wouldn’t be possible, however, without the support of an exceptional team, both on site and at our head office. What we have achieved as a team together over the past year has been little short of incredible. Long may it continue.”

At the beginning of the evening, a video was presented which takes in some of the incredible achievements and progress made in two years of construction.

Nigel Cann, the project’s Programme and Construction Delivery Director, said; “2018 has been a year of huge progress for us with all our milestones achieved and the projection-schedule to complete the foundations of unit one next year. I am extremely proud to see so many people from Hinkley Point C’s fantastic team gathered together, especially those that represent our local partners from across Somerset who are making a huge difference to a nationally important project.”

The award rounds off an excellent year for TCi, after being named North Devon’s “Most Outstanding Business of the Year 2018” and achieving success once again at the Considerate Constructors Scheme awards.
