TCi (GB) Ltd provides commercial & industrial new-build construction, interior fit-out & refurbishment, office and welfare furniture supply and installation.
This is an exciting opportunity for a Furniture Installation Operative to join a successful Warehouse and Furniture Installation team, within a busy company environment.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Assemble and install a wide range of furniture, including office desks, chairs, storage units, bespoke furniture, and other fittings
- Be prepared to carry out additional tasks as required
- Ensure all furniture is installed according to the client’s specifications and safety standards
- Provide high-quality customer service while on-site, ensuring that the client is satisfied with the installation process
- Ensure the site is left clean and tidy once the installation is complete, removing all packaging and waste
- Adhere to health and safety regulations and company policies
- Completion of all necessary paperwork and administration relating to the role
Requirements:
- Ability to work efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team
- Basic IT skills
- A good level of physical fitness, as the role may involve manual lifting
- Strong practical skills and experience in using hand tools, power tools, and other installation equipment
- Attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
- A flexible approach to work and the ability to adapt to changing priorities.
- A full, clean UK driving licence is essential for the role
- Ability to pass BPSS (Baseline Personnel Security Standard) vetting as required by the role.
- CSCS Card desirable
- Previous experience in furniture installation is desirable but not essential
- Potential to achieve SSSTS Qualification
