Furniture Installation Operative

TCi (GB) Ltd provides commercial & industrial new-build construction, interior fit-out & refurbishment, office and welfare furniture supply and installation.

This is an exciting opportunity for a Furniture Installation Operative to join a successful Warehouse and Furniture Installation team, within a busy company environment.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Assemble and install a wide range of furniture, including office desks, chairs, storage units, bespoke furniture, and other fittings
  • Be prepared to carry out additional tasks as required
  • Ensure all furniture is installed according to the client’s specifications and safety standards
  • Provide high-quality customer service while on-site, ensuring that the client is satisfied with the installation process
  • Ensure the site is left clean and tidy once the installation is complete, removing all packaging and waste
  • Adhere to health and safety regulations and company policies
  • Completion of all necessary paperwork and administration relating to the role

Requirements:

  • Ability to work efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced environment
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team
  • Basic IT skills
  • A good level of physical fitness, as the role may involve manual lifting
  • Strong practical skills and experience in using hand tools, power tools, and other installation equipment
  • Attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
  • A flexible approach to work and the ability to adapt to changing priorities.
  • A full, clean UK driving licence is essential for the role
  • Ability to pass BPSS (Baseline Personnel Security Standard) vetting as required by the role.
  • CSCS Card desirable
  • Previous experience in furniture installation is desirable but not essential
  • Potential to achieve SSSTS Qualification
