UKAS ISO 9001 & 14001 Standards

Amongst a raft of industry accreditations, TCi is certified to the international benchmark for quality and environmental management systems

As a company that operates within nuclear, pharmaceutical and other highly-regulated sectors, it is vital that TCi maintains effective systems. Adopting an integrated management system (IMS) covers the overlapping requirements of ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015. It governs documents and processes, sets and monitors targets and KPIs.

Beyond integration

Reliance on the principles of the standards framework and good practice is embedded within TCi operations. Numerous additional accreditations, contracts and working practices are dependent upon or contribute towards the certification. Documents established within the system help to ensure thorough supply-chain assessment, health and safety or sustainable procurement processes.

Being ISO 9001 & 14001 UKAS certified contributes towards TCi’s many PQQ accreditations, including Achilles Building Confidence, Constructionline Gold, CHAS, ACDC and JOSCAR each of which influence the ways in which the company builds supply-chain resilience, ethical purchasing, welfare and safety.

Combined with accreditations that address driving standards (such as FORS) and the image of the construction industry (Considerate Constructors Scheme) alongside environmental and workplace commitments (Disability Confident/North Devon Biosphere Business Partnership) TCi is committed to raising and setting standards at every level. TCi has encouraged subcontractors and clients alike to adopt standards and working practices that improve outcomes and benefit the whole community.
