Warehouse Operative – Bridgwater

TCi (GB) Ltd provides commercial & industrial new-build construction, interior fit-out & refurbishment, office and welfare furniture supply and installation.

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated Warehouse Operative to join a successful Warehouse and Furniture Installation team, within a busy company environment.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Loading and unloading delivery vehicles safely and efficiently
  • Sorting and storing products in the appropriate locations within the warehouse
  • Operating warehouse equipment
  • Conducting stock checks and ensuring inventory accuracy
  • Ensuring the warehouse is clean, safe, and organised at all times
  • Adhering to health and safety regulations and company policies
  • Assisting with the preparation and dispatch of client requests
  • Reporting any damages or stock discrepancies to the supervisor
  • Supporting other team members and assisting with any ad-hoc warehouse duties as required
  • Supporting the team with furniture installation, ensuring products are assembled and installed to the highest standard
  • Completion of all necessary paperwork and administration relating to the role

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a warehouse or similar environment is desirable but not essential
  • Ability to work efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced environment
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team
  • Basic IT skills (e.g., using warehouse management systems)
  • A forklift truck license desirable
  • A good level of physical fitness, as the role may involve manual lifting
  • Attention to detail and strong organisational skills
  • A flexible approach to work and the ability to adapt to changing priorities
  • A full, clean UK driving licence is essential for the role (if required for duties such as delivery driving or vehicle movement)
  • Ability to pass BPSS (Baseline Personnel Security Standard) vetting as required by the role
  • CSCS card desirable
