TCi’s apprentices play a major part in the development of the business
Having grown exponentially as a company in recent years, TCi has been able to provide opportunities for apprentices across many varied roles. The contribution these apprentices have brought to the business is immeasurable, with many progressing into senior positions, taking responsibility for large projects and critical business functions.
In this short video, Managing Director, Alex Perkis explains some of the benefits of encouraging apprentices within TCi
“Over the past few years, TCi has undergone huge growth as a company and much of that wouldn’t have been possible without our exceptional apprentices.
Many of our apprentices have chosen to specialise in a particular skill and have adopted more senior positions after completing their training. We feel proud to be able to provide an environment where candidates can quickly assume autonomy and responsibility for their own tasks and make a visible contribution to projects and operations.
It’s a credit to each individual that they can develop skills to become a valuable part of a project for one of Europe’s largest infrastructure projects or a multimillion-pound construction contract for a global pharmaceutical manufacturer.
Life at TCi is challenging and rewarding in equal measure. We’ve been fortunate to have been able to maintain business throughout the pandemic and, more importantly, support our clients by completing projects on schedule and developing safety solutions through innovative product and design collaboration. Our apprentices have been instrumental in all of these achievements.
We are constantly identifying new apprentice or training roles as the needs of the business evolve and we are well supported by our local educational establishments.
