Site Manager, Stephen Munt stepped forward to receive a bronze award for his site, ‘TDK Lambda Phase 1b Project’ at the Considerate Constructors Scheme National Site Awards in Manchester.

The award recognises the site’s consistent performance in external audits, scoring top marks (45/45) across the three core areas of the code of considerate practice. The code requires contractors to observe, implement and improve standards across community, environment and workforce.

Throughout the audits, the site was commended for maintaining good practice and community information, maintaining good welfare provisions, and tackling problem waste whilst protecting the environment.

The award continues a long history of success with the scheme. TCi has previously been awarded bronze, silver and gold supplier awards, and has TWICE been named Most Considerate Supplier (2017 & 2021). In 2022, Marketing & Sustainability Manager, Ben Gibbs was announced as Environment Champion.

Today’s award is TCi’s first dedicated site award and distinguishes the company’s capabilities as a responsible contractor, operating to the best possible standards.

Project Director, Jim Capron said;

“Congratulations to Steve and his team for this well-deserved honour. There have been challenges due to adverse weather and programme delays, but this goes to show how determined they have been to maintain exceptional site standards throughout.”
